If you meet the diploma and language requirements and passed the artistic entrance exam you fulfilled the first two steps in our enrolment procedure. You still need to take the following steps.

STEP 3. Confirm your arrival

  • Documents

    You need to send a copy of the following documents to or bring them as soon as possible to the student office.

    • ID card (or passport for foreign students);
    • D-visum (for visa-obliged foreign students);
    • APS certificate (for Chinese students);
    • copy of the diploma needed to enrol (see admission requirements). If the original is in a language other than English, French, German or Dutch, it must be accompanied by a legalized translation. Transcripts must include a complete description of the institutional grading system or other standards of evaluation with maximum grades and minimum marks indicated.
    • document which grants you access to a university or university college (only if it isn't obvious in your diploma)


STEP 4. Determine the content of your study programme

  • Individual programme and exemptions Music Jazz

    An individual path is any study path that deviates from the conventional model path of 60 credits and is determined in a contract every academic year. You can obtain an exemption by proving that you obtained a credit in a previous study within higher education that corresponds with the content of a specific course in your new study programme.

    Collect the necessary evidence:

    • Scan or copy the obtained diplomas and credit certificates + the detailed overview of previously obtained credits and courses on the basis of the diploma supplement or transcript of records
    • A brief official description of the content and objectives of the course for which the student wishes to obtain an exemption, based on official study information from the previous university college or university.

    If you only want to apply for a few exemptions and you collected all evidence as described above. You can directly upload them in the exemption module (VA module) in iBaMaFlex. A manual for this can be found below.

    Your application will be discussed at the admissions committee. Once your application is in order, and you completed the composition of your study programme in the SPA module in iBamaflex, your study contract will be available via iBaMaFlex (e-postbus). You will need to confirm the contract there. It is only then that you are properly enrolled in the RCA. Welcome!



STEP 5. Confirm your study programme

  • Study contract
    After you have completed your study programme in iBaMaFlex and after this has been approved, your study contract will be made available via the e-mail box in iBaMaFlex. You must confirm the study contract there. New students also have to sign it digitally in iBaMaFlex..


STEP 6. Pay your tuition fee

  • Tuition fees postgraduates

    In September or October you’ll receive an invoice for the tuition fee and course related fees based on your signed study contract. The invoice will be sent to your AP-mail. It is not possible to get a scholarship of financial assistance from the Social Service for a postgraduate programme. It is not possible to pay the tuition fee by instalments.

    Registration for 30 to 60 credits fixed amount: 3 900 euro
    Registration for 3 to 10 credits: 650 euro
    Registration for additional credits: 65 euro per credit

    Postgraduates partial programmes 30 credits

    • Postgraduate Music - Suzuki Teaching Method Violin ESA 1-3 (two year programme)
    • Postgraduate Music - Suzuki Teaching Method Violin ESA 4-5 (two year programme)

    Registration for 30 credits (one year): 1 950 euro
    Registration for 3 to 10 credits: 650 euro
    Registration for additional credits: 65 euro per credit

    Postgraduate 30 credits

    • Postgraduate Music - Children’s  / Youth Choir conducting (one year programme)

    Registration for 30 credits: 1 950 euro
    Registration for 3 to 10 credits: 650 euro
    Registration for additional credits: 65 euro per credit


STEP 7. You are enrolled

  • Student card en certificates

    If you have completed all the steps, you can pick up your student card at the student administration office. You can also request a registration certificate.
