A dark musical quest for the meaning of breathing. Siebe Thijs (1999) creates an interdisciplinary music-theatre performance on a text by Sony Labou Tansi (1947 - 1995), a Congolese poet who can be counted among the African avant-garde. Singer Herlinde van de Straete (1999) and the musicians of EMC - Extended Music Collective express and represent an inner quest for the subconscious of man and his interaction with the outside world. Video images by Paulius Šliaupa (1990) and electronic soundscapes interact with the questions posed by the three characters on stage.
