We are very proud of our young talent Balder Dendievel, student oboe, who won the first prize at the Honda Competition for Classical Music 2018! This music competition is organized especially for students of the eight Belgian conservatories.
Balder Dendievel follows the 'Young Talent' programme at our Conservatoire. Young promising musicians who have not yet obtained a diploma in secondary school but who have already reached a sufficient artistic end level, can be enrolled at the Conservatoire. While they start the bachelor's programme, they finish their secondary school.
We also congratulate Balders teacher Luk Nielandt.
