From the academic year 2019 - 2020, the Conservatoire will start the Educational master in Music and Performing arts with specializations in Dance, Drama and Music.
A career in the arts and a teaching assignment go hand in hand. The Educational master in Music and Performing arts integrates the training as an artist and teacher. You learn to share your passion with a diverse audience and how you work with very specific target groups. This requires a great artistic baggage but also the right pedagogical skills.
You continue your master's programme in Dance, Drama or Music and combine this with subjects such as subject didactics, internships, project work and supporting courses. The Educational master concludes with a master's thesis that consists of two parts: a master's thesis in your discipline and an art-educational project that you create yourself.
You can start this Master's programme of 120 credits after obtaining your bachelor's degree in Drama or Music or following the bridging programme Dance. You can also choose to obtain your master's degree in Dance, Drama or Music first and then follow the shortened Educational master's programme of at least 60 credits.
