Lecture: Theatre for All: Voices from the Margin
Theatre has a way of pulling people together who might never otherwise meet. In this session, Dr Isabelle Gatt shares stories from projects made with senior citizens, diverse-abled artists, and people living with HIV - work that raised awareness, fought stigma, and built understanding. Part of the AMASS Horizon 2020 programme, these plays ('F’Ħakka t’Għajn', 'Siġra tat-Tin', 'Posittivi') found their heart in the communities they came from. Through film, images, and conversation, we’ll see how theatre can open doors, and keep them open.
