The Drama course consists out of four pillars: artistic practice, voice, body and theory. This division into four pillars is based on the didactic vision of Herman Teirlinck. The current programme carries the valuable legacy of that theater thinker, but also stands with both feet in the present. Your current position in the world is questioned in practical, vocal, movement and theory lessons.
The practical subjects are organized in trimesterial or semi-trimester blocks, during which you work on a project with an expert in your discipline.
In contrast to the Drama courses in the Netherlands, our Drama department is academic in nature. You will receive thorough theoretical training to support your artistic practice, and your degree is at an academic level.
