The project ‘Peter and the Wolf: The Fairy Tale of Power’ interweaves Prokofiev's classic story with Russia's contemporary political reality. Peter symbolises courage, youthful innocence and resistance, while the Wolf represents threat and oppression, inspired by Russian leaders. The musical fairy tale depicts the timeless struggle between freedom and control: Peter learns to overcome his fear and take responsibility, a powerful metaphor for hope and resilience. Through theatre, music and multimedia, we uncover the parallels between fairy tales and the political powers that still influence our world today.
