What's Next?! How to tackle European subsidies and residences

What?

Are you interested to go abroad or have you always wondered how you start an (international) subsidy dossier? Then this info session is one you will not want to miss!

The European programming period 2021-2027 is running at full speed. Through its many subsidy programmes, the European Union is working towards an innovative, sustainable, inclusive and prosperous Europe. You too can use EU subsidies to give shape to both your own and European ambitions. At least if you know how to respond to this and what the requirements, points of attention and stumbling blocks are. Kaatje Gevaert, liaison officer European subsidies and funding at VLEVA, guides you through European policy, shows you what to look for when choosing a European subsidy program and gives some tips on how you can (even better) prepare your organization for a European projects.

After this, Gudrun Heymans and her colleagues will inform you about submitting grant files to Creative Europe, the European subsidy program to support international cooperation specifically for the broad cultural and creative sectors, including audiovisual media and journalism. The Creative Europe Desk Flanders team guides you through the possibilities at a glance using practical examples.

To top it all off, Magdalena Rausch from Culture Moves Europe will inform you about their mobility grants: Culture Moves Europe provides mobility grants for artists, cultural professionals, and host organisations in all 40 Creative Europe countries. It covers the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts and visual arts. The event will present both the Individual Mobility Action, which is aimed at individuals as well as groups of up to five people, and the Residency Action, which supports host organisations in carrying out residencies. Funded by the European Union, Culture Moves Europe is implemented by the Goethe-Institut.
