Top-level music courses & master classes - Easter holiday 2024

Whether you are a musical talent with ambitions to study with us in the future or have been studying in a conservatoire for some years, we welcome you for an intensive and inspiring week.

When and where?

From 8 to 12 April 2024, at our campus DE SINGEL in Antwerp.

What to expect?

  • Daily one-to-one lessons with the teacher of your choice, whether in composition, instrument or vocal studies.
  • Enriching workshops and lectures covering topics such as prevention training for musicians, historically informed performance practice, improvisation, and contemporary music.
  • For conservatoire students: opportunity to extend your lessons to include chamber music.
  • For students at highschool level: possibility of extending your lesson package to include chamber music and General Musical Education.
  • An inclusive community of like-minded music lovers from various corners of the world.
  • A vibrant campus where you can rehearse and study in abundance before and after lessons.
  • A grand final concert on the last day, where your friends and family are welcome to enjoy a musical climax with you.

How can you sign up?

  1. Fill out the registration form.
  2. Then send an e-mail to stages.kca@ap.be with the following information:
    1. A video or YouTube link showing you playing your instrument.
      For Composition: send a portfolio with at least two scores in pdf.
    2. A repertoire list (the repertoire you want to be taught during the internship).
      Not needed for Composition.
    3. If you are eligible for a social discount: the necessary documents to support your application.
  3. Confirm your registration within two weeks by paying the appropriate participation fee.

The fine print

  • Should you register but later decide not to participate, please note that we will charge an administrative fee of €40. The remaining amount will be refunded.
    To ensure your place, the participation fee must be paid within 14 calendar days.

BASIC

  • Instrument, vocal studies or composition: €350

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

  • Chamber music: €190
    General music education: €55

BASIC + ALL ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

  • Discount on participation fee: €550

REDUCTION RATE 

  • A social discount of €50 will be granted to the first 15 registrants who meet at least one of the following conditions:

    • You have the status of refugee;

    • You got a scholarship for academic year 2023-2024.
