Origins

Origins explores the journey of self-discovery and our enduring, primal connection with nature and love. The performance begins with chaos and gradually finds harmony. Choral pieces, centered on the natural world, love and affection are intervening with soloists' folk songs from diverse regions. The strength of a song lies in its ability to transcend languages and cultures. By returning to our essence – our origins - both musically and thematically, this project connects art music with traditional folk repertoire.

A dancing duo visually guides us through the journey of disorderly self-realization, exploration of surrounding nature and those around us, embodying our deeply rooted human search for connection, harmony and love.
