New rituals for new times
Rituals are universally important cornerstones that give meaning to social, psychological and ideological processes. While traditional rituals have largely disappeared from Western culture, we simultaneously notice a need for new meaningful ritual practices. This need is especially tangible during periods of mourning, transition and accumulated crises. During such times the importance of saying goodbye, creating a narrative of form, finding and using the right words, become much more central.
