The tradition of “Txarangas” arrives in Belgium

The Txarangas are a typical musical group from the north of Spain made up of about ten wind and percussion musicians. This group is not just a musical group that plays in the streets to entertain the public, but is closely linked to the culture and popular folklore of Navarra. The variety of music we can hear from a Txaranga is wide, as well as the diversity of events where we can find one: popular festivals, carnivals, weddings or all kinds of celebrations.

In this project we will enjoy what can be a typical day of a Txaranga in a popular festivity in a village of Navarra, from morning to nightfall, covering different musical styles linked to the different moments of the day, but that's not all, we can also enjoy typical products of the gastronomy of Navarra.
