“Women’s Voices”, a music story by Agata Kowalik and Wen-Hua Chiang, focuses on women, their diversity, and uniqueness. All throughout history, we have heard female voices sing, but have we really heard women voice their own longings and motivations? Women are often introduced as the ones who bring life, beauty, strength, and fragility. But who are these driven, strong-willed women with a fervent awareness of their sensuality, who are searching for identity and are in bold pursuit of democracy and freedom?
