Sterre De Raedt obtained her master's degree in violin and music pedagogy at the Antwerp Conservatory, followed choral and orchestral conducting in Brussels and Amsterdam and further specialized in Creative Music Leadership at the Guildhall School of Music in London. As a music pedagogue she makes children and teachers all over Flanders enthusiastic about classical and contemporary music. She teaches at the Antwerp Conservatory, leads the Opmaat orchestra of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and teaches at the International School Ghent.
Sterre is also in demand throughout Belgium for the development and accompaniment of interactive concerts and large music education projects. She gives vocal training, sound painting, lectures, workshops and leads interactive concerts for Concertgebouw Brugge, Bozar, Jeugd en Muziek Brussel, Frascati, Koor&Stem, etc.
