Tom Collier (1978) has been passionate about music from an early age. He obtained a master clarinet (major distinction) and pedagogical diploma with Eddy Vanoosthuyse along with a first prize harmony at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven.
In 2019, Tom obtains a Grand Distinction Master Composition at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Wim Henderickx and Luc Van Hove. He is again taking writing classes with Alain Craens. Tom was awarded the silver medal PRIZE FOR MUSIC 2017 for the solo works Herfstkleuren (clarinet) and Iphis (contrabassoon). In 2019, his symphonic work Spirits will be selected and performed by the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.
Tom is currently pursuing a master's degree in orchestral conducting at the Lemmens Institute (LUCA School of Arts) with Ivan Meylemans.
