Dying Bear Meditation. By Marius Popa and Bart Van Dijck

Past the autumn equinox, the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting darker. The bears start to prepare for their hibernation, a temporary death.
The 'Dying Bear Meditation' reflects on this seasonal process and invites you to take a break from daily life, to have attention for what is ending, where we need rest, and what things come up in the darkness.
We aim to evoke a collective trance experience and become a bear together by working with a mantra.
Before we go into hibernation, a seasonal snack will be offered.
At the end, we digest the experience with a warm tea.

The 'Dying Bear Meditation' is organized and guided by Marius Popa & Bart Van Dijck and is part of the research class 'The Bear and the Smooth Snake' (Articulate 2023).
