Born in Canada in 1981, Asher Lev is a dancer and choreographer whose works have toured in festivals in Europe, Israel, Canada and the U.S. He has danced for Batsheva in Tel-Aviv, Carte Blanche in Norway and has joined many other dance and performance projects across Europe. Asher has been teaching and guiding movement and choreography workshops in academies and dance companies (such as Cullberg Ballet) in Sweden, Israel, Canada and Norway. He has an M.A. in Choreography from the Amsterdam University of the Arts and a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Lev is curious about spiritual practices that resonate with his artistic path. He is interested in Sufi Spinning Practice, sitting and moving meditation and ecstatic Breathwork.
