David Vermeiren (°1987) studied history at the Antwerp University and graduated in 2010. After reasearching the modern literary and artistic reception of medievel mystic Hadewijch, he conducts research into the post-war Belgian avant-garde. Based on different artist archives he reconstructed the networks and evolutions in the work of artists such as Guy Vandenbranden (1926-2014) and Mark Verstockt (1930-2014). This resulted in multiple monographs and contributions in journals on this topic.
