Ludovik Colpaert graduated in 1998 as a master in fine arts - jewelry design & goldsmithing at St. Lucas Antwerp. In 2000 he founded Atelier 11 together with Flor Janssens, a fellow alumnus of St. Lucas. To this day, they explore with their collections of fashion jewelry the extent to which universally recognizable symbols, shapes, materials and colors can represent a particular story or concept in jewelry that can be appreciated by a wide and international audience. Since 2017, Ludovik has been teaching at St. Lucas Antwerp, where he is workshop supervisor, teacher and studio coordinator. Since 2017, he has been working at the educational master of visual arts as an internship supervisor and lecturer.
