‘EU’ is an experimental novella by Vincent Van Meenen in which we follow the adventures of a little dog, a boss and a dog sitter. Power and interdependence are the core themes. In its own idiosyncratic way, ‘EU’ also constitutes a response to Homer’s ‘Iliad’.
‘EU’ is the first Dutch-language novel to be published as an NFT. Each of the 500 unique physical copies is linked to an NFT. This makes each copy resolutely unique, and no reprint is possible.
This publication is part of the doctoral research ‘100 years of surrealism, with surrealist creation methods in dialogue’ (ARIA UAntwerp, Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and Royal Conservatoire Antwerp).
