In this project, dancer, choreographer and teacher Tuur Marinus wants to research what new approaches he can develop on the concept ‘collectivity’ within choreography. Hereby he would like to, among others, research a collectivity that cannot be defined as a social utopia, neither as a social dystopia.
Next to a literature and field study Tuur wants to investigate this in the dance studio via some choreographical experiments. The choreographical method that the researcher wants to put to the test here is the consecutive application of choreographic assemblages and choreographic oxymorons on dance materials.
