In 1962, the Swiss harpsichordist and art collector Antoinette Vischer commissioned John Cage to write her a new composition for harpsichord. Cage though didn't really enjoy the sound of the instrument, "It sounded to me like a sewing machine".
The organisation of the new congress-festival 'CAMRTNS' is looking for proposals: performances, lecture performances and / or paper presentations that deal specifically with inclusiveness and an aesthetic of accessibility in multidisciplinary contemporary arts.
In the new academic year 2019 - 2020, students can choose from 13 master classes. Artists such as Els Dietvorst, photographers Charlotte Lybeer and Geert Goiris and sculptor Anton Cotteleer work in small groups around a theme during one week.

From our surplus of old books and paper with previous corporate identity we selected the most beautiful and handy copies. We then had them cut to pieces, disassembled and mixed in completely new compositions. We recycled thirty-eight and half meters of paper into 1000 notebooks.
