It is with great regret that we have to conclude that with the rising infection rate and the more restricted covid-19 measures the continuation of ARTICULATE (part 1) at the Academy and ARTICULATE (part 2) at the Conservatoire cannot take place.
AP Hogeschool suffered from a cyber attack in the night of Tuesday September 29 on Wednesday September 30. Our IT department noticed the attack in an early stage, which keeps the impact contained to several of our administrative systems and applications. Our online learning evironment, for example, remained unaffected.
Before the summer break, the last-year students of the bachelor's programme in Dance should have graduated with a joint work, under the supervision of choreographer and dancer Daniel Linehan. Two months after graduation and a fascinating creative process later, they meet again, on stage.

BAUHAUS 1 0 1 is the fifth edition of ARTICULATE, the annual research days of the Academy (26-30 October 2020) and the Conservatoire Antwerp (11-13 November 2020).
The creation of a site specific solo is an important part of the curriculum of the bachelor 2 Dance. The fact that the projects could not be created and presented on the Campus did not stop the students. They adapted the task to the new situation during a two-week research, and created their solos using video as a medium. The result can be seen in the form of a six-day online festival.
