In a collaboration with DeCinema, seven of our Classical Music master's students play music to silent films by female directors from the last century. There were actually quite a few of them, but over the years, the women have been erased from the history books to make way for their male contemporaries. With this project, our students and DeCinema are bringing back some of the female film pioneers Lois Weber, Alice Guy Blaché and Lotte Reiniger to life.
