Jeroen Malaise

Jeroen Malaise (°1971, Antwerp/Belgium) is pianist and composer, and teacher at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. He played different keyboard instruments from an early age on, amongst them clavichord, harpsichord and piano. He has performed with various productions at festivals worldwide including the Beijing Music Festival, Royal Opera House London, National Arts Centre Ottawa, Wiener Konzerthaus, Cage Festival and Ligeti Festival in Amsterdam, Roma-Europe Festival, and won several international awards.
At the Conservatoire, he teaches improvisation and practical harmony to the students of the piano department, and he is the main teacher of artistic graduation projects of the master students.
At the Music Academy of Borgerhout (Antwerp) Malaise teaches piano.
