Projects
Throughout the year we welcome teachers from abroad as guest teachers: Krzystof Tomalski (Warsaw) shares his expertise in sandblasting and intaglio, Guntar Sietins (Latvia) shares his knowledge related to mezzotint. Students visit events and projects in and outside of the Antwerp region, to get to know the printmaking world.
The master students, and possibly some third year bachelor students, take a trip to a foreign school, where they set up an exhibition of their own making. Every year we try to give students the opportunity to go on an internship abroad, with a renowned printing studio. We regularly collaborate with other art school (La Cambre, or KASK Ghent) to make specific projects and exhibitions. Students will have contact with many foreign exchange students that study at our Academy.
