Research Week October 2020

Two Research Weeks are organized annually at the Academy. Within these weeks, research by students is central. The Research Weeks make an explicit connection between research and education, which gives students the opportunity to get acquainted with research(ers) and the research base within the Academy. During the Research Weeks they can choose from various masterclasses.

Research group CORPoREAL becomes partner of a new international network for dance research: "CoDa | Cultures of Dance". The aim of CoDa is to promote dance research as an academic discipline at both national and international level, by organising various activities to promote the mutual exchange of knowledge, expertise and skills between dance researchers, locally and abroad.

Last week more than 1,500 people attended the exhibitions, lectures, concerts and performances at the Antwerp Conservatoire and Academy. This fourth edition of ARTICULATE, which focused on the Fluxus art movement, thus became the most successful of the festival on art and research.
