Professionele uitvoerende kunstenaars worden tijdens hun studie en daaropvolgende carrière vaak geconfronteerd met aanzienlijke beroepsmatige uitdagingen, die op hun beurt kunnen leiden tot een aantal psychologische en gezondheidsproblemen.
Het is goed gedocumenteerd dat professionele musici een scala aan psychische problemen ervaren als gevolg van de psychologisch veeleisende aard van hun beroep (bijv. Pecen, Collins, & MacNamara, 2016; Perkins et al., 2017; Van Fenema & Van Geel, 2014).
RESEARCH WEEK OCTOBER 2025
Two Research Weeks are organized annually at the Academy. During these weeks, student research is central. The Research Weeks explicitly connect research and education, giving students the opportunity to engage with research(ers) and the research base within the Academy. During the Research Weeks, students can choose from various research classes.
