After graduation

Throughout the master's degree, you have been able to deepen your research questions and have an extensive toolkit to continue your own individual trajectory in an international network.

What we offer to our alumni

The Royal Conservatoire Antwerp cherishes its alumni and likes to stay in touch. Alumni can enter or update their data through this form.

Being an alumnus/alumna of one of our programmes means that you

  • can take part in our masterclasses free of charge for two years after graduation (if places are available).
  • become a member of the Friends of the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp for free, until the end of the calendar year following the year of graduation.
  • have a free library membership for life

Alumni network on Facebook

If you graduated from the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp, then you belong to our alumni. Feel free to post about your artistic activities, tag yourself and your friends in photos, search classmates and reminisce. Do you need an artistic companion for a particular project, then you might find who you are looking for on our Facebook group.

Continue studying? That’s possible!

In case you have interest in following an Educational Master in Music and in the performing arts - specialization dance, it is possible.

This is a full-time 1-year course of 60 credits, but it can also be followed part-time and can therefore be spread over several years. In consultation with the coordinator, an individual study program is put together so that the training can be followed in harmony with the artistic-pedagogical practice. For further information, see the educational master program.

In case you would like to further develop your artistic practice in a research framework, you can apply to become a researcher at the Royal Conservatory or the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Both institutions offer yearly a call for research programs. If you have interest in applying for a research program, please check the research groups and contact the chair-person for further advice.

Click here to see the research groups in both institutions. For further information on research calls, research groups and more, please access the research page of AP.
In case you would like to further develop your research into a PhD doctorate, the Conservatoire and the Academy offer a yearly call for PhD projects.
