An alliance between Charel Maes (alto sax), Lennart Henderickx (trumpet), Midas Heuvinck (guitar), Toon Rumen (double bass) and Simon Pas (drums). In this emerging formation, we see 22-year-old drummer Simon Pas as bandleader and composer for the first time. With strong influences from today's Amsterdam and American jazz scenes, this young quintet, composed entirely of jazz students and alumni, performs very fresh, yet solid, work of their own. Expect angular modern jazz with a sense of the melancholic.
