Under the direction of Pieter Matthynssens, two modern compositions will be performed: Laughter Studies 7 by French composer Louis D'Heudières and Dissolve by Irish composer Joanna Bailie. Bailie's work subtly combines cinematic images and electronic sounds with live music, an example of how modern compositions bring together disciplines and thus ‘gefundenes fressen’ for the ensemble.
