Artistic research group UP (Performance Practice in Perspective) annually organizes an 'UPday', during which the members present their projects to each other and to an audience of interested and involved parties.
This year's day takes place at De Studio, the former Studio Herman Teirlinck, a hotspot for performing arts, literature, film, and a lot of crossover.
The last part of the day (16:00 - 18:00) we reserve for an ARIA research seminar, initiated by UPdoctorandi Maria and Elina Markatatou, in collaboration with the Antwerp Research Institute for the Arts (ARIA):
'Diversity as a source of learning and not as a problem to be solved'
