Ann Geerinck

Ann Geerinck is a graphic designer, illustrator and teacher. She lives and works in Antwerp. After graduating as a graphic designer from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (1986), she confirmed her love for illustration through further studies at the HISK. During this post-graduate course she follows a specialization year in book illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia (1989).

She is a creative partner in Orso Design, a design firm with a multidisciplinary approach. They offer a wide range of creative services. Such as: industrial design, graphic design, illustration, art and design projects for public spaces.
Orso Design is the creator and developer of the Bizarium, a museum of bizarre inventions in Zeeland (NL).

Ann teaches illustration and experimental typeface design at the Academy. She shares her artistic and professional experience with undergraduate and graduate students in the Graphic Design program. In addition to her teaching activity, Ann was head of the Graphic Design program from 2012 to 2016.
