Jérémie Ninove

Jérémie Ninove (Brussels° 1988) starts playing cello at age 5. After his parcours at the Académie de musique in Braine-l'Alleud, he studies with David Cohen at the Conservatoire Royal de Mons and obtains a Master diploma in 2010. After following lessons with Michel Strauss in The Netherlands in 2011 and 2012 he finally obtains a second Master in the class of Justus Grimm at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen.
He follows also lessons with several teachers such as Marc Coppey, Roland Pidoux, Didier Poskin, Harro Ruijsenaars,...

Jérémie is now substitute cellist for the Vlaamse Opera in Gent since march 2010, and for deFhilharmonie in Antwerp since april 2013. He becomes always more interested in music of our time and is member of the new ensemble for contemporary music LAPS. Next to that he is active as solo player and develops now collaboration with composers from his generation. He explores also the world of free improvisation. He took already part in some festivals: Ars Musica, Société Philharmonique de Namur, NAMusiq', Eté musical de Florenville, Festival Musiq'3,...
   

Jérémie is section chairperson cello, viola and double bass at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp.
