
Jonathan van der Horst (1993) is a writer, theater artist and cultural worker. In 2018, he graduated from the study Woordkunst at the Royal Conservatoirire Antwerp and then attended the talent development program The Montignards at Monty Kultuurfaktorij. His performance ‘The Last Tall Man’ premiered at the Love at First Sight festival in 2019 and was selected by ARSENAAL/LAZARUS for the touring festival En Avant that same year. He also was a member and editor at the literary collective and magazine ZINK. In 2022, together with Johannes Lievens, he co-created ‘Field Notes from a Catastrophe’, a series of talks on literature and climate change. He currently resides at the writer's workshop WATLAB from the literary organization Vonk en Zonen. He has previously published work in literary magazines and blogs, such as Tirade, Kluger Hans, Hard/Hoofd, Het Groene Lab and Tzum.
