Lennert De Vroey (1994) works as writer, theater maker and musician. He studied International Politics at Ghent University and Drama (Word Art) at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where he graduated with the novel It is about Chile. In his work, political by nature, he often takes on a documentary, researching approach. Main interests are the past and its visual signs in a landscape, memory and nostalgia. Another fascination is the sea. Apart from individual work, he likes to collaborate both on a short term basis and in the long run. He is a member of ZINK, a collective that explores literature in other forms than the paper of a book; Parole, a performative research to the boundaries between sports commentary and theater; and Rendier, critical-lyrical Christmas music.
