Rosa Vandervost (Antwerp, 1984) works as an actress, dramaturge and theater teacher. Since graduating in 2005 from the drama department of the Herman Teirlinck Institute in Antwerp, she has created and performed in productions by such companies as deTijd, Discordia, the MartHa!tentative and Luxemburg.
She also collaborated as dramaturge on the performances De aankomst van de Titanic, Niets and Doe de groeten aan de ganzen for De Nwe Tijd, did the play coaching for Het gaat over in HETPALEIS and directed Dezelfde Zee for the Zeeland Nazomerfestival.
She also attaches great importance to social artistic projects. Among other things, she realized the performance Boyz in the hood with interned youth from the youth institution GBJ De Kempen in Mol, and made Blue Stars, a performance played by young people with a mental disability from the school Krauwelenhof, Antwerp.
Since 2010, she has been teaching in the word art program at AP Hogeschool Antwerp.
