Projects
Several teachers host master classes. Every year we invite alumni and renowned sculpting professionals to be guest teachers, who collaborate on projects with the students. These artists work with the students in their studio for a week, of our students visit the artists' studio.
Every year we make an international study trip. In the past we've visited Moscow, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid and New York. We organise day trips to exciting exhibitions (Düsseldorf, Rotterdam, Brussels, Ghent, etc.). We also regularly pay a visit to the galleries and museums in Antwerp.
Throughout the year we set up several exhibitions ourselves, in and outside of the Academy. These can be the result of the students' initiative, or the suggestion of teachers. Some examples are the master exhibition in our Wintertuin, or the shared exhibition with Painting in our Lange Zaal.
