Peteris Vasks guest of honour at the Antwerp Conservatoire
We are pleased to welcome the world-renowned composer Peteris Vasks to the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp between 9 and 12 February 2022. He will provide students with insight into his work and be our guest of honour during a concert of our String Orchestra.

Together with International Arts Centre DE SINGEL, we are looking for artists with experience in the field of dance who want to conduct practice-based research based on and guided by embodied artistic practice for the next academic year (2022-2023), during a two-year residency.
Belgian music week
The pandemic has hit the Belgian music scene very hard. To support all the fantastic artists from Belgium, a Belgian Music Week was organized from February 8 until February 14. Over the years, we were very privileged to see several of those artists find their sound at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. BACHELOR DANCE | The Latin word Fascinum means to conjure, to enchant and to be overcome by a spell. That is exactly what the audience experienced during the performance of the Bachelor 3 Dance students led by choreographer Agostina D'Alessandro.

The Schools of Arts and ARIA (UAntwerp) launch a call for proposals for PhD Fellowships, starting in September 2022.

In March 2021 the Bachelor Dance programme was thoroughly reviewed by the MusiQuE audit agency. The conclusion read like a paean of praise to the artistic staff, the teachers and the students. We are therefore particularly proud to be able to share the full report (link) with you.
