We welcome students from any race, colour, national or ethnic origin, religion, socio-political backgrounds, sex or gender, sexual orientation, disability. We do not discriminate based on the aforementioned in our educational programs and activities.
The guest lecturers and artists come from different geographical contexts. The Royal Conservatoire and deSingel are both embedded in larger educational and artistic (international) networks. Within the program, we aim to provide a diverse range of perspectives on ‘embodied artistic practice’.
The Master Dance is offered in English and Dutch, although the main language of the program is English to allow us to have a diverse and international team.
Being on the campus of the Master in dance residency gives you the possibility to experience closely works from an international spectrum of artists. You will be able to see works by established names such as Trisha Brown, Dada Masilo, Francois François Chaignaud, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker or Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch but also a new generation of artists such as Daniel Linehan, Jan Martens, Nacera Belaza or Amanda Piña.
At the moment there is no possibility of gaining experience abroad in the Master of Dance or of enrolling foreign students for a shorter period. Our programme is of course geared to an international audience. The artistic language of instruction is English, as is customary in the international working field.
