ARTICULATE 2024 is the 9th edition of the annual research festival of the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp:


→  16 – 18 October: at the Conservatoire
→  17 – 27 October: at the Academy

'CARE' IN, WITH, FOR, ABOUT PERFORMING ARTISTS

With the support of research group UP - Performance in Perspective, Maya Verlaak and Thomas Moore are researching various models of care in the New Music. Since the topic is too broad for a year’s research, they have zoomed in on two avenues: curation from the perspective of the performer & sustainable performance practices. 

As the culmination of their research project, they are curating a portion of Articulate. They launched a call for projects from Conservatoire researchers and others, focusing on 'Care' in, with, for, and about performing artists, on the curation of performing artists, and on sustainable practices. This will serve as the starting point for a programme of lectures, workshops, and performances
