For nearly twenty-five years (1982-2007), Lintfabriek transcended its official status as a youth center, and emerged as an international hotspot for punk, hardcore, and indie rock music with names like: The Offspring, Pavement,…. Thirteen years ago, Lintfabriek was forced to close its doors. Recently, some ex-Lintfabriek staff, program organizers, and friends have united under the name Lintfabriek Archief and plan to bring the rich musical history of Lintfabriek back to life in the form of a book, an online archive and an exhibition.
A collaboration between the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Trix and Het Bos.
